Can We Do It Ourselves?
[Editor's note: this new documentary from the Swedish media cooperative Fria Tidningar confronts some common criticisms of cooperative enterprises—that they must be inefficient, inflexible, or otherwise inferior to capitalist enterprises—with the experiences of actual worker-owners and insights from cooperative researchers in the US and Sweden. The film features interviews with GEO's own Jessica Gordon Nembhard, as well as worker-owners from Equal Exchange and Cooperative Home Care Associates.]
