Looking for a(nother) superb workplace democracy conference? Check out this year's Canadian Worker Cooperative Federation (CWCF) Conference, which will run from 10/28-10/30 in Vancouver, BC. Highlights? Too many to list them all, but here are a few:

* the CoopZone Development Forum will take placewithin the CWCF Conference schedule.It will include "workshops, strategies, and a developers' caucus”, as well as a look at "What Training is Available for Cooperative Developers". This last session will include CoopZone's own "comprehensive training program for developers".

* Keynote/plenary sperakers include Peter Robinson, CEO of the David Suzuki Foundation, on "The Role of Worker Co-ops in Building a Green Economy", and Ian MacPherson, founder and past Director of the BC Institute for Cooperative Studies, presenting a "Vision for the Cooperative Movement in the Next Century; Opportunities and Challenges".

* A panel on"How we can promote the co-op model...among environmentalists, social justice advocates, and social/solidarity economy organizers".

* an unveiling of the new CWCF/CoopZone Group Insurance Plan.
