NY and 2^nd Annual US Federation Meeting

 

New York has been chosen as the site for the second annual conference of the United States Federation of Worker Cooperatives scheduled for Oct. 15-17.  (131 words)

      The conference will be take place at the Institute for Worker Education and Labor Studies at the City University of New York. Board members, in choosing this site, wanted to also unite with the broader issue of workers.

      Conference theme, workshop strands, main speakers and other details are being worked out by a national conference organizing committee, which has representatives from worker cooperatives and other democratic organizations from across the country, Federation board members and USFWC staff member Melissa Hoover.
